A Different Perspective

As I was clicking around on the computer (& listening to the neighbor's yippy dog) I came across a place where bible verses are interpreted metaphysically. If the verse you are looking for hasn't been interpreted yet, you are able to ask them to interpret it for you. Awesome.

The verse I read about tonight was John 14:5-6

"Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?" Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

According to Rev. Ed at unity.org, traditionally these couple verses are taken to mean that anyone who is not a Christian is going to hell.

Don't you think that's a little crazy? Considering that Jesus is supposed to love us all no matter what...

Here is a different interpretation, one that makes more sense to me. Jesus is telling us to seek out and surrender to the Christ-like presence/energy within us. Only by doing this can we reach what we call 'God'. There are many paths to God. Jesus provides a path, along with Buddha, Muhammad, and others. No one way is the 'right' way but they all achieve the same purpose-to connect with God, our creator. Other names for God are light, being, presence, the now, etc.

Making Progress..

I have attended Bikram yoga 3 days in a row!! Holy cow...it feels so great. I'm taking the day off tomorrow to spend time with Brady while he's off work. We have a whole slue of things to do for the house. We don't get to move our stuff in until the 14th because we are waiting on the painters and the carpet to be installed. They will actually be done a couple days sooner, but we are going to the Kings of Leon concert in Austin on Tuesday for my birthday...so we will just have to wait :)

As far as Bikram goes...it is going great. I had my best day yet today. I'm getting acclimated to the heat, and boy does that help. I'm incredibly sore though...but I must push through that. I definitely didn't expect to love it this much. That's what I get for being snooty about my yoga studios.

Also, as I was looking to print out the recycling list in San Antonio I found out that it is one of the best in Texas! I'm so excited that I wanted to share it with y'all.

It's Hard to Believe Because...

Thought I'd share this with y'all...I found it last night and I don't remember the website, and I can't seem to find it in my history. But it's out there. Somewhere. These aren't my words. I'll add it as soon as I find the source.

Q: But, with the evidence out there, why aren't more people concerned about the Illuminati?

A: Because they simply can't, won't believe that this is happening. I am a strong Christian, and in Revelations, it says that right before the return of Jesus, people will be acting as if nothing has happened, that all is normal, in spite of evidence to the contrary. You could show people a video taken of a ritual, and they would declare: "it has to be a fake; people just don't do those things." You can show them a site with pentagrams, buried bones, and other evidence, and they would say, "Oh, that is just teenagers playing around". You can show them photos of underground tunnels near Los Alamos, and they will say, "Isn't that interesting. Must be some government project." They can be shown the scars on a survivor's body, from cigarette burns in childhood, and old lash marks that have healed on their back, and the question would be "are you sure it wasn't self inflicted?"

The evidence is there, but in my opinion, the average person does NOT want to know, and even when confronted with it, will look the other way.

The Franklin case is a point. How much evidence has come out? Or the MK-Ultra documents that have been declassified, shown as real, and people ignore it.

Okay, I'll get off my soap box. But I believe that the media that downplays ritual abuse is feeding into a deep need in the average person to NOT know the reality. In fact, how can a person face the fact of great evil in mankind, unless they have either a strong faith in God, or are faced with insurmountable evidence? We as human beings want to believe the BEST of our race, not the worst, IMHO.

(PS IMHO means In my Humble Opinion or In My Honest Opinion...I had to look it up)

It's hard to believe that people are sick enough to do this to others, but it happened & is still happening...

Federal Government Shutdown

So I just heard that there is a possibility that the Federal Government will shutdown on Friday at midnight. I knew that Congress was having issues coming to a resolution about the budget, but I didn't realize it was this extreme. I don't usually watch the news because most all of it is the media telling you what your opinion should be, in my opinion :) So, that's why I'm a couple days behind.

What even happens when the Federal Government shuts down?!

Do you think this could be planned? Maybe as part of a big, master plan called the New World Order??

That's a sneaking suspicion of mine!

After I wrote this blog, I found this article. Please take the time to read it. I couldn't have said it better myself. I am happy that there is someone in Congress that is aware of what these New World Order people are doing.

Whewie!

Well, the past couple days have been a whirlwind to say the least. I took possession of the house & went to Bikram yoga for the first time on Wednesday. I am so glad to finally have the house!! The interior is being painted right now--I will post pics tomorrow because I had a little hiccup with my camera...I'll explain that in a minute.

Bikram was great! I'm so glad to being doing yoga again...I just love it. Although the entire 90 minutes I'm there I am wonder why the hell I would subject myself to this. But after class is when I find out why...because it works wonders for your mind, body, & soul. It is such a great feeling coming out of that HOT room and into the cool 82' dressing room knowing you just did something SO GREAT for your entire being. I liked it so much that I went back today. And I'm probably going tomorrow, too...if I'm not too sore ;)

Alright, about the camera.

Sooo...as I was moving things back and forth between my house and Scriven's my DSLR managed to fall out of my backpack and onto the driveway. Bummer. BIG bummer.

Sad, huh? Well, lucky for me...my birthday is on Monday! I got a new one because they said it would cost almost double the original price to fix it. As I'm unpacking it at home my contractor walks in so, naturally, I show him my busted up camera to explain why I got a new one. Like I have previously thought, he also thought that just the lens busted & a piece was left on the body. He took some pliers to it and got it off! So, I will be making a trip back to Best Buy to return my camera & just get a new lens (& save some $moolah$ too). He walked in a just the perfect time, otherwise I never would have thought to pry it off myself.

Natural Help Anyone?

As a result of my recent findings, I am going to try even harder to do things the natural way. I'm taking it a next step. I want to find a natural doctor. If you know me, you know I am always going to the doctor for one reason or another (TMJ, anxiety, ance, etc).

This is proving to be a bit more challenging than I had initially expected. I knew it was going to be hard because our modern medicine just treats the symptoms, not the actual cause of pain or disease. In my opinion, this is taking the easy way out. I have learned that physical disease is a result of an imbalance in our subtle energy body. So, I did a search to find a natural MD within 50 miles of San Antonio. Guess how many results I got?!

Zero.

Welp, it looks like I'm going to have to do a bit more research and digging. Thank God for the internet :) If anyone knows of anyone or a way to find someone then please let me know. This is a semi-new world to me.
